When water is running through your ceiling at 2 a.m., the people who show up matter more than the logo on the truck. Our Houston crew has worked together long enough to read each other’s moves across a flooded hallway without saying much. They’re IICRC-trained, background-checked, and uniformed on every job, but what actually binds them is simpler than that: each one has seen what slow documentation does to an insurance claim, and each one refuses to let it happen to your house. We’re part of the Garrison Partners family, and we run every job in Houston to The Garrison Standard.
Restoration work we handle

Our People
Marcus D. – Lead Water Damage Technician
Marcus has spent 14 years in restoration, most of them in the Houston metro, where humidity turns a small leak into a mold problem faster than anywhere else he’s worked. He holds IICRC Water Restoration Technician and Applied Structural Drying certifications. His specialty is psychrometrics: the science of tracking moisture movement through air and materials so drying isn’t a guess. He’s the one who’ll hand you a written scope of loss before any equipment comes off the truck, because he’d rather you know the price and the plan before the work starts. On weekends, Marcus rebuilds old motorcycles in his garage and swears the patience transfers to waiting on stubborn drywall readings.
Lena R. – Senior Mold Remediation Specialist
Lena has been doing mold remediation in Houston for nearly a decade. She’s certified in Applied Microbial Remediation and has spent most of that time working homes from Katy to Kingwood, where she’s seen the same pattern over and over: a small roof leak ignored, then a big problem behind the baseboards. She runs containment and air-scrubbing setups by the book, documenting every air quality reading and every square foot treated so your claim file is complete. Lena keeps a small notebook of Houston restaurant recommendations and will absolutely give you one while she waits for a negative clearance result, though she’ll tell you her real hobby is arguing about the Astros bullpen.
Evan T. – Service Coordinator
Evan is the voice on the phone when you call Keegan Restoration Houston, and he’s the one who makes sure a live person answers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. He’s been coordinating restoration crews for six years and knows how to triage an emergency call, because he asks the right questions before he sends a team your way. Evan builds the schedule, keeps the equipment inventory straight, and tracks every job from first call to final walkthrough. He’s also the one who remembers that you have a dog and makes sure the crew knows before they arrive. Off the clock, he’s training for his third Houston half marathon and complains about the humidity on every run.
Diego M. – Apprentice Technician
Diego joined the crew two years ago and works every job under the direct supervision of Marcus or Lena, learning the trade the right way: moisture meters first, big equipment second. He’s already logged hundreds of hours on water extraction and structural drying jobs across the Houston area, and he’s working toward his IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification. Diego handles a lot of the grunt work that keeps a restoration running smoothly, from setting up containment to running the Dri-Eaz and Phoenix units that pull water out of slab foundations. When he’s not on a job, he’s usually watching soccer or helping his niece with her science fair project, which last year was about evaporation rates.
One Standard, Every Job
Every member of this crew works under the same two rules, and they don’t bend. First: the price goes in writing before any work starts, and it never moves at the door. Second: every repair is backed by the 365-Day Done Right Promise, a written one-year guarantee with a free return visit if the work fails. That means if a repair doesn’t hold within a full year, we come back and make it right at no charge to you. Equipment comes from professional-grade brands like Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, XPOWER, B-Air, and Injectidry, and every job is documented from the first moisture reading to the final clearance report, formatted to stand up to your insurance adjuster’s scrutiny. Shane Pruitt, who owns Keegan Restoration Houston, has been part of the Garrison Partners family since 2005, and he expects this crew to meet The Garrison Standard on every single job: show up inside the window, price in writing, do it by the book, leave the site clean, and stand behind the work for a full year.
